Well, until recently it has been a tough question to answer. Nearly any oil or polyeruthane has some effect on the colour and tone.
But no longer! Bona has come to our rescue. Bona is a Swedish company who create specialty coatings for timber. We have always been a fan of their Traffic product, which is a hard wearing, non-toxic coating, but one of their newer products Bona Naturale, really took our interest.
Naturale vows to make any timber floor look just like it does before you coat it - and we've trialled it and been very impressed with the results.
